The Bible Study Corner

Welcome to the ministry section of the site. Hope and pray that you will receive more revelations and a better understanding from this bible corner. The bible states that 'My people perish because of lack of knowledge', therefore ignorance is no excuse. So, it is up to us to learn the will of God for our lives through His word.

On the day of Pentecost, after the disciples were filled with the Holy Ghost, the church started. However, this the order they followed:

Acts 2: 42	And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 2: 46-47	And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

They continued steadfast in the 1) Doctrine, 2) Fellowship, 3) Communion, 4) Prayers and 5) Praising God.

One of Jesus instruction was to "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." - John 5:39

The disciples then followed the commission - Acts 17:11 "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."

The word 'STUDY' only appears three (3) times in the bible, these are directive to study spiritually (the word of God), educationally (with the aim to achieve gainful employment) and that we  should not study too much.

Ecclesiastes 12:12	And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
1 Thessalonians 4:11	And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
2 Timothy 2:15	Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
